A Shield for {TARGET}
Scripture: He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones. -Proverbs 2:7-8
Prayer: Lord, You are the master of all creation, and You hold everything in the palm of Your hand. You are the One who breaks the rocks with a shout, but speaks love in a whisper. You are the guardian of my soul, and all my comfort is in You.
Lord, I lift up {TARGET} to You and bring {THEM} before Your throne of grace. You said we could come before You with boldness whenever there was a need.
Lord, {TARGET} {needs,needs,need} a shield today, so I’ve come to ask Your help. Let Your gaze fall upon {THEM} Lord wherever {THEY} {is,is,are} right now, and guard {THEIR} course today. Let Your strong arm of victory go before {THEM} and Your shield of protection cover {THEM}. In Jesus mighty name, amen.
