Revelation for a Mother

Intro: In every people group there are mothers who love and nurture their children. They each have something in them that connects with a loving nurturing God. Our prayers can focus the attention of the Holy Spirit on one of these mothers today.

Scripture: Who should not revere you, O King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you. -Jeremiah 10:7

Prayer: God of Glory, who can be compared to you? You are faithful and true, redeeming that which is lost and restoring that which is broken. You are worthy of all our worship and devotion.

Father, I thank You for the Holy Spirit that You have sent to lead us into all truth, I lift up the {TARGET} to You, and I pray for the mothers among them. Holy Spirit, I ask that today you would visit one of these mothers and spark in her heart the revelation she needs to embrace the Good News of Jesus.

Hear the cry of her heart Lord, for her children, and the people of her clan. Respond Lord to her compassion and concern for others. Honor her humility Lord, and release to her the revelation she needs to receive Your love. Call her out Lord as a modern day Mary, and send her as the woman who shouts, “He is risen! He is risen!
