Angelic Visits
Intro: All through human history God has used His angels as messengers, even announcing the birth of Christ to the shepherds. God loves to use His people, but there are times when only an angelic visit will do the job.
Scripture: And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God; and I have been sent to speak to you, and to bring you this good news.” -Luke 1:19
Prayer: God of mercy and grace, thank You for Your heart to seek and save those that are lost. You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the 99 and goes out after the one.
I agree with Your desire that none should perish, and I lift up the {TARGET} before Your wonderful throne of grace. For those who have no access to Your truth Lord, I’m asking You to dispatch Your angelic messengers.
Visit key people among this group, and bring them the revelation of who Jesus is. Just as You announced the birth of Christ to the shepherds, I ask for an announcement to be sent to the {TARGET}.
Extend Your mercy Lord, command Your servants, and send them on their way. Reveal Christ to those who have no revelation, and rescue them as the Good Shepherd that You are. In Jesus name, amen.
