What is a Prodigal?

A prodigal is anyone who is not living in the love, grace and peace that Jesus has purchased for them. Just as the ‘prodigal son’ was unwilling to live in the peace, and provision of his father’s house, our independence drives us away from the blessings of God.

But God is waiting with open arms, and watching at the window. His heart would be for us who live in His house to run out and bring back those He longs for. As we link our heart with His and intercede for the Prodigals, we release the power and influence of His love into the prodigal’s life. Together we can fill our Father’s house with the joy of celebration.

Join with Jesus: Jesus said, “I AM the Good Shepherd.” When you name His Name over a lost soul, you are lifting up the banner of active love. Jesus cares more about your lost friends, neighbors and family members than you do. Meditate on these Bible verses and declare His heart of longing over the lost.

Scripture:

For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. – John 3:17

This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. -1 Timothy 2:3-4

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. -2 Peter 3:9

… Thus it is not [the] will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish. -Matthew 18:12-14

The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have [it] abundantly. -John 10:10

Thank you Father that even now you are sending out your angels to war against the enemy and minister to each prodigal whom you you love and hold so dear…your kidnapped royalty will be returned to you.

Thank you FATHER, for bringing them back from the enemy’s land where there’s destruction, confusion, hatred, fear, sickness, violence, depression, poverty, lack, spiritual blindness, suicide, and death (Jer 31). Send YOUR angels to protect and escort them back into YOUR loving and protective arms! Awaken and reveal to them, by the HOLY SPIRIT, the deceptions of the enemy. I thank YOU they will live out YOUR purpose and destiny and many will be saved because of their salvation.
