Protection from Trouble for Me
Scripture: You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. -Psalms 32:7
Prayer: Lord, You make rivers to flow in the desert, and set the boundaries of the seas. You carve a path through the mountains, and set the timing of the sun. Nothing is beyond Your reach, and nothing can touch what You protect.
I come before Your throne of grace, and I ask that You would hide me under Your wings. Protect me Lord from whatever trouble is lurking about. Secure me in the palm of Your hand, guard my going out and my coming in today.
Lord, show Yourself strong on my behalf, and declare Your sovereignty over my life. Sing over me Lord Your songs of deliverance and drive trouble from my doorstep. Let Your shadow of security fall over me today, and cause my heart to rest. In Jesus name, amen.
