Speak Peace to the Leaders<\/p>\n
Scripture<\/strong>: \u201cBe still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret \u2014 it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.\u201d -Psalms 37:7-9<\/em><\/p>\n Prayer<\/strong>: Lord, You are the sovereign God over all creation. In You we live and move and have our being. Every breath we take is a gift of grace from You. Apart from You we can do nothing: all power is in the palm of Your hand.<\/p>\n I lift up the leaders in {TARGET}, and I ask that You would deliver them from anger and vengeance. Break the cycle of wickedness that perpetuates itself through anger.
