No Anxiety

No Anxiety

Scripture: When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul. -Psalms 94:19

Prayer: Lord, there is no one else like You. You form the light and create darkness. You bring prosperity and create disaster. You are the sovereign God who does all these things.

Lord, anxiety trolls the earth and stalks the souls of men, seeking to distract and devour those who are caught off guard. I want to come before You today, and ask for Your strong hand to guard {me,me,us} from anxiety and fear.

Stir in {my,my,our} {heart, heart, hearts} Lord that unexplainable faith and confidence that comes only from You. Guard {my,my,our} {mind, mind, minds} from fearful thoughts and that inward dialog that drags us down the road to despair. Break the power of the evil one over {my,my,our} {mind, mind, minds} today, shatter his lies, and bless {me,me,us} with joy that refreshes the heart. In Jesus name, amen.

  2. This suggests that determinism is at backside nothing more than the inflation of a psychological problem — the persistent inferiority complex of our race, which has sought in innumerable fata morganas the security and stability that life unfortunately does not provide.

  3. But more important than any genre classification, the game was conceived with the idea that we would settle for gamers as our collaborators, that we might put energy again in their arms, ask them to make selections, and allow them to deal with the implications of those decisions.
