Jesus My Teacher

Scriptures: You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for [so] I am.  -John 13:13

With Him are wisdom and might; To Him belong counsel and understanding. -Job 12:13

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. -Psalms 32:8

Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls . -Matthew 11:29

Good and upright is the Lord; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. -Psalms 25:8

Prayer: Jesus, I thank You for being {my,my,our} teacher. Though You know all things in heaven and on earth, still You bid {me,me,us} to come, and I’m so grateful to find a place at Your feet. Lord, help {me,me,us} to lay down the cares of this world and take up Your yoke. {I,I,We} come to You now, to learn from You, for ‘You are gentle and humble in heart.’

Teach {me,me,us} how to enter into your rest. I’m here to wait upon You, until {my,my,our} strength has been renewed like the eagle. Jesus, teach {me,me,us} more about childlike faith and simple trust, resting when {I,I,we} need to rest in You, and persevering in prayer when {I,I,we} just need to go the second mile. Speak to {me,me,us} Lord for {I,I,we} {am,am,are} listening. Thank You Jesus for being {my,my,our} Teacher.
